LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 - Character Token Guide: Year 1

There are 18 character tokens found in the entire Year 1 campaign.  Their locations are as follows.

The Magic Begins

Mr. Ollivander

Found within the third map of the level.  Head through the gated passage to the left.  From the gated passage, approach the left end of the room.  Cast open the chest before you to reveal the character token.

Tom the Innkeeper

From the previous character token, head across to the opposite end of the room.  Cast open the chest before you to reveal the character token.

Griphook

Found within the fourth map of the level.  From the map’s entry, cast open the chest right of where you stand to reveal the character token.

Out of the Dungeon

Ron (Girl Disguise)

Found right as you begin the level.  Switch onto Hermione and approach the bookshelf upon the right wall.  Decipher the given pattern to reveal the character token.

Harry (Hogwarts)

Found towards the end of the first map, just before the entry to the girls bathroom.  Cast and open the right desk to reveal the character token.

Madam Malkin

Found within the second map of the level.  Head towards the back left end of the room and draw your attention to the set of closets.  Cast the middle closet.  Assemble the revealed LEGO pieces into a spring board.  Use the springboard to retrieve the revealed character token from above.

A Jinxed Broom

Fred (Quidditch)

Found inside of the chest left of the enclosed wall passage.  Cast open the chest to reveal the character token.

Harry (Girl Disguise)

Found underneath the walkway which leads up to the entry to the second map of the level (you’ll have to use Crookshanks to retrieve it).

Marcus Flint

Found within the second map of the level.  Make your way up to the left platform and draw your attention to the glowing black chest upon the left wall.  Destroy the chest using a dark character to reveal the character token.

The Restricted Section

Harry (Pyjamas)

Found within the first map of the level.  Head over towards the right end of the room and draw your attention to the locked chest before the bookcase.  Cast open the chest to reveal the character token.

Filch

Found within the second map of the level.  Make your way down the hall and draw your attention to the chest left of the staircase.  Unlock the chest using a goblin character to reveal the character token.

Neville (Pyjamas)

Upon the third and final map of the level, make your way down the set of steps, and draw your attention to the glowing black chest to the right wall.  Destroy the chest using a dark character to reveal the character token.

The Forbidden Forest

Fang

Upon the start of the level, switch onto Fang, and make your way towards the right end of the area.  Within the back right corner, dig into the ground to reveal the character token.

Hagrid

From the previous character token, head up to the upper walkway and draw your attention to the glowing black sphere within the left corner.  Destroy the sphere using a dark character to reveal the character token.

Draco (Hogwarts)

Found just as you enter the third map of the level. Cast open the locked chest within the left corner to reveal the character token.

The Face of the Enemy

Harry (Slytherin Disguise)

Found within the third map of the level.  Draw your attention to the locked chest within the right corner.  Cast open the chest to reveal the character token.

Professor Quirrell (Voldemort)

As you first enter the fourth map of the level, draw your attention to the immediate chess piece to the left.  Destroy the chess piece using a dark character to reveal the character token.

Ron (Cardigan)

From the previous character token, make your way over towards the opposite end of the room.  Draw your attention to the left chess piece before the door which leads into the fifth map of the level.  Destroy the chess piece using a dark character to reveal the character token.
